Additional Information:What is BI Ride?
BI Ride is a shared-ride service that operates on Bainbridge Island by both rider request and by serving scheduled stops.
Where can I go?
Catch the bus to shopping, lunch, the park, marina or cinema. Go anywhere on the Island or connect with a bus to Poulsbo and beyond.
Who can ride?
BI Ride is open to anyone, but is not designed to accommodate group trips. If you are making a reservation for more than one person, please notify the reservationist when you call. Kitsap Transit will try its best to meet all requested trips but cannot guarantee seating for groups.
Two ways to ride!
- Call. If you want to catch the bus somewhere other than at a scheduled stop, call at least two hours in advance and the bus will come to you. To schedule a ride, please call 1-844-4BI-RIDE. Reservation lines are open from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Saturday.
- Hop the bus at one of three scheduled stops. Tell the driver where you want to go and you are on your way. Scheduled stops: Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal, Lynwood Center and Bloedel Reserve. See stop times below.
Individual trips may be grouped with other BI Ride or ACCESS service trips to the same or nearby destinations. For riders planning a trip for a scheduled appointment or to connect to another Kitsap Transit bus or ferry departure, the trip will be scheduled to meet those specific time needs. For trips with no specific time constraints, riders may be asked to adjust their desired trip time to coordinate with other scheduled trips in their area.
