Kitsap Immigrant Assistance Center

KIAC is committed to the wellbeing of immigrants and the development of a rich multicultural community. We work to empower, educate and integrate immigrants through advocacy and social justice.

We are here to serve immigrants with services including:

  • Paperwork and phone calls: Help with reading and writing documents in English or Spanish, filling out forms on paper or online, and making phone calls
  • Bills: Help with applying for financial assistance for medical bills or setting up payment plans.
  • Learning English: Information about local English classes, and 1-on-1 conversation practice
  • Doctors: Twice monthly medical clinics to address ongoing or new (non-urgent) medical concerns
  • Dentist:  Monthly mobile dental clinics to perform extractions, fillings and cleanings
  • Clothing & Food:  Clothing for children and adults, hygiene items, diapers, pantry staples and other necessities available
  • Immigration Legal Support:  Sliding scale or pro-bono immigration legal support for work permits, asylum cases, and numerous other immigration legal matters
  • Business License & Tax Preparation:  Assistance with business license applications and State and Federal tax preparation
